I chose this issue because I am FTM transgender and everywhere I go, every website and news outlet I see: Transgender people are the confused sexual predators who’s only importance is what genitals they have. I strongly disagree with that stereotype. I’m not confused, I’m not a rapist and I’m way more than just what’s in my pants! People forget that trans people are human beings with thought, feelings, hopes and dreams. Even if some were outliers and did horrible things, still doesn’t give the right to dismiss a whole group of people.
